Add a touch of style to your kitchen worktop with Loft, the latest Tefal Breakfast set* by British design and innovation leaders, Seymourpowell. Inspired by traditional British ceramics, this refined range features a distinctive fluted design and a glossy, porcelain-like finish. In bold white with cool chrome hardware, the elegant toaster has four extra-wide slots, ideal for thin and thick slices of bread, as well as bagels, crumpets and teacakes. Two toasting chambers mean you can toast two or four slices at once – enough to feed one or breakfast for the whole family. A choice of seven browning levels allow for customised toasting. Left your loaf in the freezer? No problem; the ‘defrost’ setting thaws frozen bread in a flash. There’s also a ‘reheat’ setting to keep your toast warm, plus ‘stop’ to pop up your bread at any time during the toasting cycle, and each setting illuminates when selected. The high-lift lever makes it easy to grab small items, like English muffins, without burning your fingers, while two removable crumb trays – one on each side – keep the worktop tidy and make clean-up a breeze. Just slide the trays out to discard the crumbs and keep your Tefal toaster in tip-top condition. Statement style: With its unique fluted design and high-gloss, porcelain-like finish, the Loft toaster is sure to make an impression on your worktop. Versatile: There are four extra-wide slots to fit up to four thick slices of bread. Two toasting chambers mean you can toast two or four at a time, depending on how many mouths you’re feeding. Tailored toasting: Seven browning levels let you toast to your taste. Choose a higher level for a well-done crunch or a lower level for a lighter toasting. Convenient controls: Three handy settings illuminate when in use. There’s a ‘reheat’ setting to warm up cold toast with ease, ‘defrost’ to thaw frozen bread fast and ‘stop’ to cancel the toasting cycle. Safe and simple: A high-lift lever helps you remove the smallest items without burning your fingers, while two slide-out crumb trays make it easy to remove crumbs and keep your toaster clean.

A Reheat function on a toaster automatically reduces the toasting time to approximately 30 seconds so that cooled toast can be brought back to temperature, without burning the toast.
This gives the ability to slightly raise the bread carriage, allowing you to remove smaller items such as crumpets and bagels without burning your fingers!
On a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface away from water splashes and other sources of heat. Ensure there is enough space around it, away from any flammable substance such as curtains or under shelving and never use under a kitchen wall cupboard. Remember never to leave the toaster unattended.
Almost all types of bread available in stores. You should be aware that dry bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread toasts more slowly. With the adjustable thermostat, you can adapt the toasting level to suit your taste. If a slice of bread gets stuck in the appliance, unplug it and leave it to cool down. You can then remove the slice without any risk of getting burned.
The differences in the humidity levels between the various types of bread may cause the time and toasting level to vary. Slightly dry bread should be toasted at a very low position. Very fresh or wholemeal bread should be toasted at a slightly higher position. Bread with an uneven surface, such as English bread rolls, may need a higher toasting position.
Yes for bread containing cereal.
No for bread containing dried fruit, in fact toasting it will give the bread a bad taste and may transform the fruit into embers, which could catch fire or lead to damage of the toaster
Yes. With the automatic centring fitting all our toasters and with the extra deep and extra wide slots on our new models, buns, rolls, thin or thick slices can easily be toasted without sticking to the heating elements.
It is only possible in appliances specially designed for small buns. Be careful as the toaster can only contain 2 or 3 buns at the most to avoid a concentration of heat.
Dry bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread toasts even more slowly. With the browning level selector, you can adjust the toasting to your taste.
Before cleaning, maintaining or storing it, unplug the toaster and leave it to cool down. To clean the outside of the toaster and the power cord, use a soft cloth or a slightly damp sponge and detergent, then dry it all over. To clean the crumb tray, remove it and wipe with a damp cloth. Do not put it in the dishwasher. To maintain the toaster, never use harsh detergents, metal utensils or abrasive scouring pads. And never touch the heating element.
The lever will only stay down when your toaster is switched on at the mains socket outlet. If there is still a problem, unplug the toaster and turn it upside down over a sink and gently shake to remove any large crumbs that may be blocking the mechanism. If the problem still persists, take your toaster to an approved service centre.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
Standard square cut bread. Remember that stale bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread takes longer, depending on model. Your toaster will be fitted with a button for toasting bread from frozen.
Switch off the appliance and leave it to cool. Unplug the appliance before attempting to remove the bread. You can then remove the slice without the risk of touching a hot element. Remember never to leave a toaster unattended whilst in operation.
