The app has 175 recipes for the moulds provided and an additional 30 recipes for the additional moulds which can be purchased on the accessory page of the website. New recipes will be added during product life.
The app is no longer compatible on Android versions 4.4.4 or lower, because of reinforced data security.
As far as possible, we recommend that you update your device to a higher Android version or use another compatible device.
Updates will not only allow you to enjoy a richer experience with new features and compatibility with the latest technology, but will also protect you against possible security vulnerabilities that have been fixed in the latest versions.
There is a program suited for each recipe type. Depending on the selected program, a default cooking time is indicated. There are a several recipes per program. For this reason, it may be necessary to adjust the time base on the chosen recipe. Preheating is not required, and cooking start when the program is launched, once the appliance is closed and start has been pressed.
Caution: to ensure best results, it is essential to follow the recipe and to respect the proportions.

NO. For chocolate melting for example, you can either use a ceramic, inox or silicon bowl, respecting the maximum dimensions: L 19cm x l 19cm x h 6cm. Plastic is not allowed in the appliance as it might melt and product toxic emissions.
Once the preparation has been poured into the mould and the cover has been closed: - Scroll through the cooking programs using the – and + buttons. The chosen pictogram flashes. - Confirm the time needed. - Press the OK button to confirm.
Yes, by using automatic mode or the manual mode, but cooking times need to be adjusted. Ensure that you adjust the quantities accordingly and that the moulds are not overfilled, according to instructions manual.
Cake Factory can make both sweet and savoury foods. However, we currently don't have any specific recipes for savoury foods. You can always try making your own savoury items using the manual mode, according to instructions manual, but ensure that you adjust the quantities accordingly and that the moulds are not overfilled.
Yes you can use your own baking tray, as long as it is small enough to fit into the appliance. However, we recommend that you do not use glass trays in the appliance. Ensure that you adjust the quantities accordingly and that the moulds are not overfilled, according to instructions manual. Baking tray must be compatible with cooking in oven at 250°C.
Make sure the device is installed on a flat, stable, dry and heat-resistant surface. Plug in your device and press the on/off button. The first program flashes, indicating the "Program Selection" mode.
• Remove all packaging, stickers and various accessories from both the inside and outside of the unit. • Prior to first use, thoroughly clean the 3 different moulds using hot water and washing-up liquid, carefully rinse and dry.
• Press the On/Off button to turn off the appliance. • Unplug the device. • Let the Cake Factory cool for at least 2 hours.
• The appliance and its power cord must never be put in the dishwasher, nor under water. • To clean the lid, run a sponge soaked in hot water and dry using a soft, dry cloth. • Never immerse the appliance in whole or in part in water or in another liquid. • Always ensure that the appliance is clean and dry prior to storage.
The cooking accessories, grid and non stick aluminum bowl, are dishwasher-safe.
Putting the silicon moulds in the dishwasher is not recommended. Wash the silicon moulds in hot water and some washing-up liquid, then rinse thoroughly to remove all residue. Dry them thoroughly. Do not use any metal scouring pads, steel wool or abrasive cleaning products to clean the non-stick mould. Only use nylon or non-metallic cleaning pads.
The non-stick baking trays are dishwasher safe, however we recommend conditioning these after washing it in this way. We recommend handwashing the silicone moulds with hot, soapy water, however they are dishwasher safe and if you wish to put them in the dishwasher, put them on the top shelf.
Silicone bakeware is non-stick because it doesn't absorb any oils or grease it leaves them on the surface to allow food to lift out. So after cleaning, it needs to be dry with soft cloth.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
The programmes on Cake Factory are balanced to produce soft cakes and therefore, even if some are not as brown as expected, they still taste delicious and superbly cooked. The cooking times can be adjusted.
The appliance is not very hot while it is running, you cannot get burned. However, be careful when removing the moulds after cooking, it is recommended to use oven gloves. Do not touch the hot parts of the device during use. Please keep your hands and face away from the steam coming from the back of the appliance.
It is not necessarily faster than an oven, but of course it depends on the recipes. Nevertheless, you will have to preheat your oven before using it, which can be long, but with Cake Factory, there is no preheating time required before launching the program. Moreover, as you do not need to monitor the cooking process neither adjust the temperature yourself, you can attend to other occupations while your pastries are being baked: you save time to play with your kids and sure of the results!
It depends on the moulds you are using. For individual cakes, you can serve as much people as cakes you have baked. When you make a big cake using the non stick aluminium bowl, you can serve up to 8 people.
