Only IXEO has our patented three-position Smart Vertical Board with hanger hook built right in. Use it horizontally like an ironing board only with less hassle, vertically for controlled steaming with ironing results, or at a 30 incline for maximum comfort and convenience. Two times lighter than a traditional iron, the intelligent steam head is pointed for precision and has just one setting that’s safe to use on your entire wardrobe* easier and faster garment care. At 1600W, IXEO heats up in just 45 seconds – great for last-minute touch-ups. A heated soleplate combines with Turbo Steam Technology for high-efficiency results: high-power, 5-bar pressure produces a 35g/min boost, removing even tough creases in a flash. What’s more, Tefal IXEO sanitizes as it steams, removing odours andkills 99.9% viruses, bacteria and germs***. The 1L water tank (removable for easy refills) gives you 40 minutes’ use and has an anti-scale cartridge for long-lasting performance. Meanwhile, the lightweight, portable base lets you steam upholstery around the home without constraint. Plus, with built-in wheels, IXEO is a cinch to move and store. Also included: a fabric brush for thick fabrics, a lint pad to remove unwanted fibres and two clips to fasten clothes to the board.

• Untreated tap water: Your appliance has been designed to use untreated tap water. If your water is very hard, mix 50% untreated tap water and 50% distilled water.
• Types of water not to use: Heat concentrates the elements contained in water during evaporation. The types of water listed below may contain organic waste, mineral or chemical elements that can cause spitting, brown staining or premature wear of the appliance: - water from clothes dryers - scented or softened water - water from refrigerators, batteries, air conditioners - rain water - boiled, filtered or bottled water
In order to ensure the best performance from your iron, these types of water should not be used for ironing.
With its clean design, IXEO can easily blend into your home. Equipped with small wheels underneath its base, you can easily move it effortlessly. However, if you wish to store the product, it can be lowered to a height of 105cm. More compact, it can then easily be stored in a dressing room or closet.
IXEO is equipped with an anti-calc cartridge system to increase its life span. On average, 1 IXEO cartridge gives about 8 months of ironing. When the cartridge reaches the end of its life, the "Anti Calc" indicator light flashes on the product base.
Unfortunately, the anti-calc cartridge (ref. XD5100) is exhausted.
In order to carry on using the appliance: Do not discard the anti-calc cartridge, but leave it on the appliance and use demineralised water in the tank.
If the "Anti Calc" light is on: • Switch off and unplug the appliance. • Remove and empty the water tank. • Fill the tank with demineralised water. • Put the tank back in place. • Plug in and switch on the appliance. • The appliance is ready for use when the ON/OFF light stops flashing. • At the beginning of the first use, after adding demineralised water, the "Anti Calc" light will be off. It will turn on after few minutes of use. • After a few minutes of steaming, the "Anti Calc" light will switch off.
From now on, only use demineralised water to fill the tank.
Your product is not plugged in or is not switched on ==> Check that your product is properly connected to a power socket and that the switch is on "I". The water level in the tank is too low ==> Unplug the appliance and fill the tank. The pump is unprimed ==>Press and hold the steam button for a few seconds to prime the pump. The removable tank is not installed correctly ==> Check the correct positioning of the tank on the product. The product is in "Stand-by" mode ==> Press the "On-Off" button and wait until it stops flashing.
Your product is not plugged in or is not switched on ==> Check that your product is properly connected to a power socket and that the switch is on "I". The product is in "Stand-by" mode ==> Press the "On-Off" button and wait until it stops flashing.
The water tank is not installed correctly or its locking valve is not closed properly ==> Check that the valve is closed and that the tank is installed correctly on the product.
You have used descaling chemicals or additives in the water. Never add such products to the water tank. These contain organic waste or minerals that condense under the influence of heat and cause spitting, brown dripping or premature aging of your appliance.

After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
You have pressed the steam trigger 3 times briefly and successively which triggered the "Boost" mode. The steam is then automatically activated for a few seconds.
