To access the decompression ball: 1 Remove the metal lid by unscrewing the nut in an anti-clockwise direction. 2 Remove the ball casing by turning it, then gently clean the ball with water and washing up liquid, without using any metal utensils which may damage it. 3 Dry the ball and its housing using a soft cloth Before returning the ball to the appliance, check for obstructions in the tube by blowing into it.
