The removable filter is made from a mesh that retains the particles of limescale and prevents from falling into your cup when pouring. This filter does not treat or eliminate water hardness. It preserves all the qualities of the water. If you have very hard water, the filter will get clogged quickly (10 to 15 uses). It is important to clean it regularly.
